Mrs. Kayalvizhi Jayavel started her career as a teacher in the year 2001. She has 22 years of expertise in the art of teaching, research and administration. She did her under graduation with specialization in electronics and communication engineering from Sai Ram engineering College and Post graduation with Embedded Systems as specialization from College of Engineering, Guindy.
She currently works as Senior Lecturer and Course Leader at University of Arts, London. Before that she was Assistant Director, International Relations and Associate Professor in Computer Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India.
Her collaboration with Electronics, Embedded Systems and Information Technology have obviously created her interest in Internet of Things, which is the amalgamation of all these disciplines at different proportions may be, Which is her field of research too. Her other Research areas include Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
And Mrs. Jayavel have received ACM’s “Service recognition award” for an article elaborating the contribution to IoT at our campus. The article is published in ACM XRDS December 2015 edition and
