PhD in Wireless Sensor Networking

Background

The African Center of Exellence in Internet of Things(ACEIoT), is established at Univerity of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology with the financial support from World bank ACE II Project. UR-ACEIoT aims to train a critical mass of African Scientists and Engineers in the field of IoT through Higher Education and Research.
This provides a great opportunity for African students to enroll in multidisciplinary postgraduate programs in the field of IoT. ACEIoT will build on UR’s existing collaborations with the local and international partners, including Carnegie Mellon University Africa, and the International Center for Theoritical Physics, Italy. This ensures that the training will be offered by a truly experienced global faculty.

ACEIoT supports PhD fellowships through full or partial scholarships in the following programs:

PhD in IoT with the specialization in:
1. Wireless Intelligent Sensors Networking( WISeNet).
2. Embedded Computing Systems(ECS)

Mode of PhD: Course Work and Dessertation/Thesis

Duration: 4 years, fulltime.
