Bio:

DR. MBANZABUGABO Jean Baptiste has almost 13 years working in academic environment, His professional experience has been a blend of managerial as senior academic staff, researcher and teaching staff; all the three aspects combined offered him a distinguished career earmarked in education service, teaching, curriculum development, review and academic research in particular. He holds Bachelor Science in Engineering, Computer Science from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)-Rwanda, Master of Computer Applications of Bangalore University and Master of Science in Software Engineering of Annamalai University from India; and PhD in Computer Science from Atlantic International University-United States of America.

He is a member of Doctoral Committee at the African Center of Excellence in Internet of Things (ACEIoT), to monitor and evaluate the progress of the PhD researches as External University/Industry expert for the period of 2018-2022, University of Rwanda; Technical Committee Member for Rwanda Standard Board(RSB) TC021: Information and Communication Technology, ISO/IEC 30141:2018 Internet of Things (loT)– Reference Architecture;ISO/IEC 30128:2014 Information technology — Sensor networks — Generic Sensor Network Application Interface; and ISO/IEC 30101:2014 Information technology — Sensor networks: Sensor network and its interfaces for smart grid system;

He is Stellenbosch University –SA| Certified Supervisor of Doctoral Candidates and intent to supervise bright students interested particularly in the following research areas:
